The Inland Empire Taxpayers Association (IETA) is a State General Purpose Recipient Committee (PAC) under the California Political Reform Act.

As such, the IETA falls under Section 527 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The IETA supports and opposes ballot measures and candidates for office through direct contributions, coordinated non-monetary contributions, and through independent expenditures which are not coordinated with a candidate' s campaign.

The IETA is not subject to donation limits.  Individuals, businesses/corporations, and political committees may donate without limit.

Contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes.

State law requires political committees to report the name, address, occupation and employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate to $100 or more per election cycle.

Per the requirements of the California Political Reform Act, the IETA regularly files financial reporting documents with the California Secretary of State.  These documents are a matter of public record.  Financial reporting information for the IETA can be found at the Secretary of State's website:
